I was getting alright reception, then my phone was losing connection, dropping calls like crazy, I would go with ASC! not AT&T which is Cellular one so I am talking about both now, all it does is make people you are hangin up on them, dont choose them!
Had great reception the first month. Then, NOTHING in the area. Do these co.s rent tower space at different strengths ? After 30 day lemon law, bump you down to lower transmission ? I would imagine that their profit margin would go up. I am NOT happy at all with cell one.
Cell One bought out AT&T (digital system), and switched over to GSM. What was decent reception under AT&T digital became poor under Cell One GSM (after promises that it wouldn't). However... It's the only show in town if you live in this area and want to use your phone "outside". The only relief I've found is to use a decent magnetic-mounted antenna on my car (my V400 will accept one). This also used to work from my home in Tazlina (in AT&T days) but no more since Cell One. Go buy an antenna for 1 to 1.5 bars better reception.
Signal Fluctuates all over the place, drops for no reason when you haven't moved. System busy frequently (this may be they overscribed I don't know). I won't renew my contract. State of Alaska RCA says Cellular one has had a lot of complaints.
