Historically no reception in harbor area. Reception beyond 4 miles north of Klawock toward Thorne Bay is poor to none. As of 12 / 20 / 06 there has been no reception in Klawock for 4 days straight. The other local cell phone company is working. The only thing going for Cellular is you can get reception in the outside waters at times.
Drop out near the Klawock River Bridge to Mile post 4 on the klawock Craig Hwy. Cell one service is great in the Klawock and Craig area. Some spordadic coverage by Thorne Bay and on the road to Thorne Bay. Use of external antenna works well. Overall service in the communities of Klawock and Craig is excellent considering the reomte location and terrain.
