reception has been in and out along with cellular data. It's so frustrating and my family with other model phones have less success than I do with their different phones.

No reception for days on end in the middle of town, dropped phone calls constantly, and AT&T never has any idea when something is wrong with their tower, and they never have any solution when you call either, they just say someones working on it. You think if someone was working on it, that it would be fixed by now. How come GCI and ACS never have these problems but AT&T does? And they are supposed to be the bigger and better company?

Drops calls unexpectedly. Reception shifts from 3-4 bars to 0 bars --- the call is dropped --- then 2 seconds later, the reception is back up to 3-4 bars. This happens (dropped calls) 4-5 times each day for me.

Service has always been pretty good in the center of town except when you walk in Fred Meyer. My biggest complaint is the service. IT IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE LADIES AT THE SERVICE COUNTER IN SOLDOTNA. Have you seen the conditions they work? Standing all day on insufficient stress mats. If you go in for service, please be nice to them. They have a right to be grumpy. No I don't work there. The service line is always long. This company needs to respresent themselves much more community friendly. I love going ot ACS for our business phones and although I may have to wait, I have coffee, magazines, currenty newpaper and chairs to make myself comfortable until it is my turn. Again... .be nice to those ladies at Cellular One kiosk... it is not their fault and most likely they would agree that customer service needs improvement.

Very poor to no reception in the same areas that my Nokia had full strength the entire time. Don't know what the problem is, but the phone is basically useless to me. I have to go back to using the free phone Cell One gave me.

We were also using the AT&T GSM phones for the three of us, and it worked perfectly even while we fished. We were in Seward and Homer also, and it worked with four bars. Mountains were a little scary, but it still worked. I was told by AT&T that the GSM will not work. They do this to have you leave your phone at home and rent. They do not want anyone to make them pay the roaming costs from Cellular One. If you have GSM AT&T - take it along because it will work and the roaming is great. AT&T does not want you to hear this.
