I had to return my new iphone the next day after switching from Verizon to AT&T. No service inside my house. Spotty service in some places in my yard, and that's it. Bummer.

There is absolutely no reception here with ATT. I can stand in the middle of the street, with no high-rise buildings in sight, on a cloudless day, and consistently still get 0 reception. This is just behind Dreamland BBQ.

So, just the fact that I have a TREO, should give you an idea of how this story goes..;-) The TREO (Company Issued-Not by Choice) has some major issues when it comes to voice communications, I have consistent dropped calls on Patton-Chapel road, especially near the area of New Construction on Patton Chapel, also at the bridge crossing over Shades Creek... These are low levels that seem to lose signal no matter what...

I do not get any reception in my condo, and it frequently cuts out on Acton Road. My friends with other carriers get great reception in both places.

I have tried multiple phones, and carriers. Cingular, Nextel / Sprint, Southern link, Verizon. Poor to no service in this area and all the companies give you the run around. Bottom line, cell companies want your money! They all give you the run around, when they switched from the old analog with few frequencies, to digital with more they got greedy, quality and service took a back seat and seperating you from your money took priority! If they're lips are moving, its a lie! They make used car salesmen look like saints!

CINGULAR SUCKS! I switched over from AT&T because they had no reception and Cingular said they would have better coverage in Alabama. Not only is that untrue, but to be calling themselves the Wireless company with the least dropped calls is downright lying.

We cannot use our phones inside our house. We have to go outside on the patio, and even then, it's very spotty, at best. Most times, I have to call back the person on a land line to continue the conversation. There are some pockets of reception throughout our lot, but it's not very consistent.

Remember, having a cell phone store right next to your house means nothing. Towers provide the signal, and these are rarely (if ever) close to a store.
