I have had no reception for the last hour on either my personal Droid2 Global or my Blackberry Curve which is provided by work which I get calls / emails on constantly. I have had to use my AT&T wireless to receive emails and to tether to my work laptop. But I am unable to receive voicemails or listen to calls that could potentially be very important and lead to patients staying extra nights in hospitals. Come on Verizon! What's going on???

Calls drop here in one spot for me about 2 or 3 times a week. Maybe it's because that's where we cut through Red Mountain? Would be nice to have a boost of signal there. Annoying on a major road, but other than that I am very pleased with Verizon coverage and have been a customer for many years.

Just switch my whole family over to Verizon. Couldn't be any more happier! I can use my phone in so many more place then I could with AT&T! They are now the largest network with 83 million.

As I drive down Haden St., After about 4 of five houses I lose coverage consistently. Every once in a while I can talk to someone in my front yard and it isn't consistent with clear day cloudy day... I can usually say, "call me on my land line before I lose the call".

Signal varies between 0 to 3 bars inside and outside. Too many dropped calls

Good reception with these phones, even in Elevators. Not good with Treo andSamsung i830.

Calls drop every time at this intersection. Same problem with TMobile. Been this way for years. Is anyone paying attention?

I can not get even 2 Bars when Im at my house in Lake Cyrus

I live on the side of Shades Mountain in Homewood. I have been through almost all cell companies. Only Verizon has been able to provide service inside of my condo.

My neighborhood is basically a dead zone. Verizon indicated that there is a bad cell in the area, but did not indicate when / if it would be repaired.

I can't complain at all. This is a used phone, too.

Poor phone much less effective than Motorola V60. Verizon admits to having problems in this area. Nextel and Cingular are much better. When is my contract over?!

I happened to come across this forum about a day or two before purchasing my phone.This was after 2 weeks of doing my homework on the internet,going to stores, and Co-worker testimonials.I can testify that Verizon has excellent phone service and reception.I started to go with Verizon.Glad I didnt ! Seeing this forum made all the difference, for if I hadn't viewed it I would have been stuck with two years of problems with Sprint.

Usually have good (4-6 bars) RF in most areas of metro Birmingham. Full signal at home. Some direct to v-mail calls (annoying at best), even in high RF areas. Occasionally a dropped call. When paying a premium for minutes, I expect near perfect performance. VZW is much, much better than Nextel, and somewhat more reliable than AT&T and Cingular. May add phone with T-Mobile. I had T-Mobile for 5+ years. Prior to VZW and experienced about same performance in metro area. Again, tell me why I pay a premium for minutes?

I've used Cingular, AT&T, and Nextel. My mom used Sprint for a while and is currently with T-Mobile. T-Mobile and Sprint are crap. Nextel has a good 2-way but not a good phone. AT&T wont pick up on alot of backroads. Cingular was decent but they messed my bill up several times. Out of all these carriers, Verizon worked the best. I've notcied other carriers have rude customer service when paying a bill but I've never had this happen with Verizon. I'm here to stay. I bought my camera phone at Brookwood from a younger guy who answered every question with ease. Verizon rules!

I love my Verizon phone. I love to go to movies so I need a phone that works in the movie theater. I go to the rave and its excellent but my Cingular phone won't work in the theater. I went to the Verizon store and the nice gentleman sold me this new Startac phone for less than my Cingular phone cost. It works everywhere. The best part is I never miss a call in the movies. Thanks Verizon.

Verizon is a 10! I used to have a T-Mobile phone before I started working for Alabama Power at the dam I had to change to Verizon. My old T-Mobile phone wouldn't work under 200 ft of concrete and water. I have to pay more with Verizon but I get the dam coverage I need.

Verizon Wireless is the best I have ever had. They have a great phone selection and the service is incredible. However, Im not sure about there customer service? Well, because Ive never had to call!!! Ive never had a problem :)
