Can only use phone in certain spots inside the apartment. Frequent dropped calls. Only 2-3 bars outside, and, even then, only when I'm facing Red Mountain.

Calls drop every time at this intersection. Same problem with TMobile. Been this way for years. Is anyone paying attention?

We cannot use our phones inside our house. We have to go outside on the patio, and even then, it's very spotty, at best. Most times, I have to call back the person on a land line to continue the conversation. There are some pockets of reception throughout our lot, but it's not very consistent.

Bad reception in the area.

Remember, having a cell phone store right next to your house means nothing. Towers provide the signal, and these are rarely (if ever) close to a store.

FORGET NEXTEL... .I agree with the other posters... .Nextel is bad... .dropped calls, fuzzy reception even with 3 and 4 bars. I'm moving on to someone else.

NO Service going N on I-65 just past Hwy. 119 to past Valleydale. Very little service on Valleydale going toward Hwy. 280

Works ok at my house which is located off of South Shades Crest between Hwy. 150 and Morgan Road. Drops calls almost always in portions of Willow Lakes and Trace Crossings. Drops calls always at various spots on I459 between Exit 13 and Exit 1.

No reception in apartment but seems to work ok elsewhere in B'ham. Sprint wouldn't change phone number when we moved to town from out of state unless we signed up for another 2 years so we still have long distance numbers after being here six months. Planning on changing to another service when contract ends.
