I rarely, if ever, get good reception at home. Certain spots in certain rooms will get me one bar at best. I cannot answer my phone except in these places or else Sprint will drop the call. Outside is no better. I get bad service all over Mountain Brook, honestly, and several places in the Birmingham area.

EVDO high speed aircard performs perfectly along highway 150. Phone quality on the Sprint network is so clear compared to the Cingular technology I have used in the past. What I love about Sprint is the variety of handsets they have. Not to mention the have great customer service and awesome technicans who will go the extra mile to help out.

I work in this area and have noticed great coverage both indoors and outside. I even have good EVDO, high speed wireless, service for my aircard.

Can only use phone in certain spots inside the apartment. Frequent dropped calls. Only 2-3 bars outside, and, even then, only when I'm facing Red Mountain.

Calls drop every time at this intersection. Same problem with TMobile. Been this way for years. Is anyone paying attention?

We cannot use our phones inside our house. We have to go outside on the patio, and even then, it's very spotty, at best. Most times, I have to call back the person on a land line to continue the conversation. There are some pockets of reception throughout our lot, but it's not very consistent.

Remember, having a cell phone store right next to your house means nothing. Towers provide the signal, and these are rarely (if ever) close to a store.

FORGET NEXTEL... .I agree with the other posters... .Nextel is bad... .dropped calls, fuzzy reception even with 3 and 4 bars. I'm moving on to someone else.

NO Service going N on I-65 just past Hwy. 119 to past Valleydale. Very little service on Valleydale going toward Hwy. 280
