I had T-Mobile and the reception was OK from home. Home is between Calera and Jemison AL on Hwy. 31. With Cingular reception is non-existent from home. Sure wish I had not switched to Cingular. I guess that their advertisement about the fewest dropped calls is true. How can a call be dropped if you can not make a connection in the first place?

I have a couple of bars, however I continue to have dropped calls in this area. Could be the phone, could be Cingular, and / or could be this area. Very frustrating (especially with those fewest dropped calls commercial).

Had a good signal until they "fixed" the tower back in March. No signal since. You can see the tower-unobstructed-just air between you and the tower and no signal. Cingular does not seem to care.
