In my house 5 blocks from downtown Clanton have 1 bar (maybe) and most of the time no service. AT&T has the "worst" cellular service

Get excellent reception pretty much anywhere in Chilton County that I've gone to, including in the back of Walmart, where signal never goes below 2. (Better than most phones on other carriers!) Granted, I / am / on roam 24 / 7 (nearest US Cellular tower is in Tennessee) but with the nationwide roam-like-home plan we have, it makes no difference, cost-wise. Had a phone go bad, and they shipped a replacement to me, then had me ship the damaged phone to them in the shipping container the new one came in. Excellent customer support and decent pricing. (Incoming calls, SMS and MMS messages all free. Mobile-to-mobile (on US Cellular) also free, as are nights, weekends and most holidays.) Hard to beat this, though I'd love unlimited text, data and voice. Would I recommend them? Heck yeah.

i live at the end of lay dam road no signal, a few people with nextel, if they stand on a rock and hold there mouth just right they might get a signal. But my husband can go out on the river and will get signal in spots.

I picked Nextel because you can only pick one carrier but Only Unicel Possibly AT&T and southernlinc are the only Carriers that get any signal here on Hwy. 22 West between Clanton and Maplesville just east of Isabella to be more specific. Someone needs to put a tower up even if a short one here Near Isabella to bridge the gap between Clanton and Maplesville.
