I am a victim of the AT&T buyout. unfortunately they don't tell you about the bill cost going up. If you make any changes to the slightest thing you will be charge. Also there is no solution to the drop call you get while traveling. they say it will stop after the change over is complete. That is something that should have been done before you changed our phones. Alltel didn't have this promblem. As long as you're in DOthan you have reception, start traveling and you got a promblem. I think I am going to Verizon... . better service all the way around

I have had AT&T for almost 20 years primarily in Miami, FL. Since moving to Dothan 5 years ago the service has been HORRIBLE. 3G is NOT too much to ask, and now with the Alltel conversion all we can do is pray that we acquire what decent service had in the rural areas / towns such as Slocomb, Hartford, Webb, Ashford, etc. AT&T sucks and if it weren't for our 22 years of service we would definitely switch o something more reliable.

I still can't believe that this are is as horrible as it is, especially will all the military here and soldiers coming from other AT&T 3G areas. Also, still disappointed with the non 3G existing coverage. Rumor has it that the 3G towers will be in service in the next 3 to 5 weeks. Anyone else hear that, that can confirm this? Come on AT&T get caught up to Verizon or you're going to start losing customers again. I personally am on the fence.

Service is Slocomb / Abbeville is all partner coverage. Abbeville is getting towers either this month or next and all along 431 toward Columbus to improve cell quality. Those towers will be 3G in September. Dothan will be all 3G no later than June 30th. As far as Slocomb goes, it'll continue to be partner coverage for now, with good reception - just don't use any data!
