Verizon has good service but they tack on hidden fees and the plans cost to much they screwed us we filed bankruptcy and they add a fee on are current bill for this which they were suppose to go through are lawyers and the trustee first and they turned off are service because we refused to pay on the 11th and our bill was not due until the 21st of that same month I told them I was not paying for something I did not receive

I've been an ATT customer for 12 years and always enjoyed the best service I could ask for. The change from TDMA to GSM was seamless and the coverage was still great. My whole family is on ATT. Recently, since about November, the service has become really hit or miss and no matter how many bars on my phone, or other phones in my group, the call quality is intermittent and grainy, and it sometimes takes two or more attempts to call out, and some calls have been dropped. ATT says it is because service is being upgraded - but it wasn't so from TDMA to GSM. Repeated calls to Tech Help get same answers, towers down or being upgraded. After a while, I am beginning to doubt it. I believe what some forums are saying, that ATT is trying to force customers into 3rd gen devices and away from 2nd gen phones. This is bad for rural areas where people only have 2nd gen service and depend on it for emergencies. If there were other options, I'd opt out now! I have a family plan that is no longer offered and the new ones are much more costly. Verizon is not an option because it is WAY too costly and CDMA eats up batteries too fast. Is there anything we can do to get ATT to pay attention and bring back the service they once had in Alabama?
