Verizon 5 Out of 5 Phone Model: LG-VX11000	I've just moved from Illinois and the reception here in Alabama is the same as Illinois... Which is awesome. I have never had a problem with verizon. There plans may be more but I believe that it's worth it.

Nextel 4 Out of 5 Phone Model: i730	Very good reception in Foley, Summerdale, and Gulf Shores area. A few dead area out in the county, but Nextel has good coverage all over the Baldwin County area. Now if they only had good coverage in Savannah and Clifton Tennessee areas where I travel frequently.

AT&T 0 Out of 5 Phone Model: Motorola V600	Unbelievable - my home is within 1 mile of Foley town center and I get no signal at all - dead zone; AT&T claims they have the best coverage---are you kdding me? A Sear's repair guy came to do some work and I used his Nextel based phone and the clarity and signal strength was great.
