When first moved here about 2 years ago had very good reception (cell phone tower just 1 / 4 mile down road). Also had AT&T aircard but it did not do well at all. Since AT&T has done their so called upgrades I constantly have dropped calls, static calls, missed calls, but connecting to facebook on phone is ok. I usually get full bar but then will drop down to nothing and even with full bars calls still get dropped or is static and have to go outside of house to talk on phone and still gets dropped sometimes. We are about to move (Pleasant Valley Rd. in Pleasant Valley area) and it is looking like the area we are moving to isn't any better or if anything may be worse. My kids have the Rugby and Tundra phones and their phones get a little better reception but not by much and they also have the same problems. However my husband has an iphone and his phone works ok here. It is now time to upgrade phones trying to decide if price difference between AT&T and Verizon is worth the aggravation or if after all of AT&T upgrades are finished is it going to be any better. Getting about ready to move on to a better provider and to one that is giving what the customers want, Service!
