Works with varying levels of bars in the house most of the time. Driving in / out of the neighborhood calls will drop every time. At Publix and Dollar General, No signal. I work on Redstone Arsenal near gate 3, NO service at all in my building with AT&T or T-Mobile, Verizon phones have great service there. I'm about to try SPRINT as Verizon is pushing Motorola down everyone's throat and delaying the Samsung Fascinate (the phone I want) So, Sprint and the Samsung EPIC 4G is what I will be trying on August 31st, fingers crossed, I don't think it will be any worse than AT&T, but I don't expect it to be as good as Verizon, however Sprint is a lot cheaper.

Most of the time the reception in this area is 1 bar. Cingular claims that when they merged with ATT and consolidated equipment, to make reception better, that one or two spots actually ended up with worse reception. I just switched to a new phone since Cingular is going to a new system, and my reception is still poor. Maybe after March 31 when the switchover is complete it will improve, but I'm not holding my breath. It's pretty bad when I have to get in my car and drive a couple of miles down the road to make a call with my cellphone.

About half the time my cell phone is on "Roam", most of the rest of the time I get only 1 bar. Occasionally I get two bars, but when I try and use my phone I get cut off frequently.

Up until a month ago had good to poor reception inside my home. Now I get nothing 75% of the time, without moving an inch, 30 seconds later sometimes I get 3-4 bars, which drops off again fast. Changes daily, from nothing to one maybe two bars. Something has changed because I hardly ever had no reception before, just low.

Reception is good. It's a little weak in certain areas. But near the city of Huntsville, reception is a full 4 sticks. Cingular is great for those little cities because it's the only provider that works.

Good reception on Sprint in the Harvest area on most of the Sprint phones I've had. Much better than on my Cingular phone for work. There are a few weaker spots, but I haven't dropped a call yet.

I live in a sub-division about a mile from the intersection of Harvest Rd / Wall Triana / Old RR Bed. Hwy. 53 is nearby.. I get 1 bar at best in my house and depend on wifi. Have called T-Mobile multiple times, and they have done nothing. I've noticed that I get 2g / 2 bars around Publix, occasionally maybe 1 bar 4g. Once you get closer to town you get 4g near and on Research Park Blvd. Reception is spotty around town and can vary from 2g to 4g. At home, it often goes from no service at all to 1 bar. Also, their customer service has been going considerably downhill (longtime T-Mobile customer). May ETF after many years soon and just stay off contract with a different carrier.

Verizon is the only carrier I have found to give me reliable reception all over.
