AT&T 1 Out of 5 Phone Model: Pantech Linc	I had Alltel for years and had good service but Alltel was bought out by AT&T. I have very poor service and my phone goes dead where it never cut off before but we are suppose to have the same tower and the same service. Our phone bill is horrible, it had internet charges on it that we didn't make due to the phone that we had to get from AT&T and if the middle button gets pressed it automatically activates the Internet and you don't have the choice of it saying you are about to incur charges do you wish to continue? Also, we had unlimited texting with Alltel and now you have to have anyone that is not with AT&T in your circle or it will incur charges unless you want to pay $30.00 or more to add unlimited texting. My phone bill was $97.00 with Alltel and now after they took all the charges off that I did not intentionally incur our phone bill is a little over $110.00, not to mention having to pay a month in advance as a security deposit. Our phone bill is more and the service is not the same (it's worse) and you incur charges you didn't have a clue about. If we have the same towers it makes no sense that we don't have a signal. Not a happy customer. I have to say the customer service with AT&T are nice but that's all. Possibly going with Verizon, I hear it has great service in our area.
