Reception has alwas been poor in my home. Over the past few months, the problem has worsened dramitically. I used to have to go outdoors to get reception, but now I cannot get reception outdoors. In addition, I am employed at the Univ. of So. AL, with no reception indoors.

Up until the last few weeks, I have had no issues with reception. I could talk on my phone anywhere in my house. Two or three weeks ago, my phone started showing "Emergency Only" most of the time. I called AT&T and they installed a new SIM card in my phone. Unfortunately, this did not correct the problem. Now I have to go outside to use the phone most times. Inside it will revert to either "Emergency Only" or "No Service". Even outside I can only get one bar. There is a tower a few miles away and according to the tower map, it is an AT&T tower. I don't understand this and I am seriously thinking of changing carriers.

I get the poorest reception that I have ever seen in my history of cell phones. I have been a user since the bag phone days (1990) and I have never had so much problems trying to use a cell phone in my home. I just might be able to talk if I go to the kitchen window and lean close to the window and dare not move my head. Most of my incoming calls go straight to voice mail, the phone never rings. I just happen to look at it and see that there is a missed call. I wanted to check and see how far my location was from a AT&T tower. I'm very ready to give my smart phone back to whoever will take it.

Reception has always been poor. Data transfer mostly on EDGE not 3G. 4G? Not for years! Only get an average of 2 bars at either company store on Schillenger Rd or Beltline Hwy. Definately going with Verison at next contract renewal. Tired of AT&T lies and deception.

Always drops call as I am crossing this intersection along with Dauphin St. headed towards McGregor (maybe because it's close to a hospital, who knows). But it has always I repeat ALWAYS drops on Airport and University

Within a mile any direction of the I-65 / I-10 connector calls drop every time. Other areas also, but this is the worst.

I constantly have dropped calls. I even sent my phone back to Apple. I am so about to change phone companies!

ATT use to be better. Cell reception has become much worse in the last 6 months. Thinking about switching. Been with ATT / Cingular for 8 years. I have had it with the reception here in Mobile. Most dropped calls ever experienced.

I get dropped calls and poor reception almost ALL the time wherever I go in Mobile, at home and on the road. I'm disatisfied with AT&T but which provider has better reception in this area???

Very poor reception on Lloyds lane between Cottage Hill Rd. and Girby with AT&T. No problem in the same area with Verizon

Switched to AT&T for reliable service. 2 cells, landline and internet service. Only dial-up internet available, cell phone service is 0 to1 bar in the house. If I go outside I can hear 6 out of 10 words and about 2 bars. This modle of phone is very tin-ie sounding. HELP - "NO HELP"

Impossible to carry on a conversation. Usually 0-1 bars at all times. Going outside helps very little. My business requires 24 on-call every single day and I can't talk to customers at night.

Iphone 3G AND Motorola Z9 (so I know it's not just the iPhone-2 of us switched and we're both going back) -no reception on Leroy Stevens from Goldmine to Grelot, Sollie from Cottage Hill to Three Notch, I-10 from McDonald exit to the MS State Line, Biloxi line past Gautier, dead spot on Schillingers past Howells Ferry, hardly any reception on Dauphin Island public beach, bad over near Loxley... switching back to Alltel before my 30 days is up... I'll miss the iPhone, but can't live with AT&T coverage.

Poor reception in my house, absolutely no reception at my work(theodore), and lacking reception at school (USA). From my understanding even though I get bad reception most people claim that at$t is the best for my area.

within the past 6 months I cannot get reception while inside my house. I have 2 of these phones so I have double trouble.

Friends can always tell when I'm at this intersection, my phone drops the call. It never fails.

V180, V600, V557 all pickup with o problems. Even on airport between University and Azalea, headed down the hill, bars decrease but still have signal.

I cant even use my cell phone in my home nor anywhere on hillcrest road. Cingular blames my phone for poor reception but no one with Cingular that comes that way, or comes to my house has reception

Only get 2 bars max even outside my house. Inside I can only sit in one corner of a room if I want to use my phone.

The reception is so bad need help repairing cell towers in this area. Help

I had been with Cingular since '99 until today. Their service quality has declined dramatically over the last couple of years, as has their customer service. If I'm going to have second rate service, I just as soon go with a second rate outfit and save a little cash in the process.
