Within a mile any direction of the I-65 / I-10 connector calls drop every time. Other areas also, but this is the worst.

As stated in my previous post, T Mobile didn't work inside my house. After many friends tried their various phones in my house, we selected Verizon as the best provider for our location. It's not perfect, but it works (indoors) almost 100 percent. Thats important to me as we've decided to do without a dedicated wired phone. Can you hear me now?

We moved here from the rural S.E. corner of Alabama (where we had very good coverage); here (2 miles off the DIP) we have to go outdoors to use our phones. We'll be changing providers just as soon as we determine what works in our own home.

Considering this locations proximity to downtown Mobile (3 miles) the Brookley Industrial Complex / downtown airport (1mile) and Baybears stadium (1.5 miles) at a major intersection, you would assume that 3 bars or better would be a given. I'm lucky to get 1 bar. Phone is basically unusable here. Poor reception 1 mile in all directions. Verizon towers located 3 miles north and 3 miles south of this location.

Phone says it is getting between 0-4 bars on a fluctuating basis but zero Voice, text or data can be used. Data fluctuates between 3G that stays greyed out, 1x and no indicator at all. Several lodged complaints to Sprint resulted in my being told that there was an outage earlier in the week but that it was fixed on 29 March. I can assure you, it has not been fixed. Sixth complaint to Sprint yesterday after 3 days of no service resulted in being informed that it will take at least 72 hours (3 more days) before it may be fixed. Service in Mobile has never been first-rate but I has never been completely terrible. I'm hoping repair work results in an improvement over usual speeds / reliability.

Reception has alwas been poor in my home. Over the past few months, the problem has worsened dramitically. I used to have to go outdoors to get reception, but now I cannot get reception outdoors. In addition, I am employed at the Univ. of So. AL, with no reception indoors.
