Eventhough the Sprint coverage map shows this area as a problem with only roaming coverage - that is not true. It is generally 2 bar coverage (out of 5) - okay outside and just a little spotty sometimes in the house and basement. I would rate it a 4 out of 10 for reception - but there isn't much choice in this area as to carriers. Very seldom drop a call - sometimes better than others as to static on the line that others hear - I never hear static - but other end does. I love my Sanyo 4920 even though it is 7 years old - it is still rated at the top as to reception and signal strength on the internet ratings. I am afraid to change phones for fear I will get something less and be unhappy.
