I live in Prattville and work in Montgomery toward Hope Hull. I get great reception with the Verizon tower regardless of where I am at. With my old phone, I could NOT call inside Walmart store, I had to step outside to make a phone call but with Verizon I CAN call inside all stores. with no problem.

We tried all the companies except Verizon and only Nextel works every time on county road 47 AKA Golson Rd.and throughout Autaugaville. The coverage is great everywhere because we traveled extensively through the US. We had phone service pretty much everywhere indoors and out. The coverage was so good at our house on county road 47 that we no longer have a land line phones. However having said that the customer service sucks and Nextel / Sprint will make changes to your account without notifying you. I spent over an hour on the phone with Nextel yesterday to get a problem resolved but was unable to so now I am looking for a new company after 5 years with Nextel. It's too bad they don't care about customer retention.

i want a good phone that doesent take forever to charge and I have good reception I also want text messaging and camra

Nextel has always been good to me. I get 5 bars on Co Rd 40 (home) at all times.

Inside my house I get 3 to 4 bars, Outside where there is no interference I get 5 bars. Same for V180, V3 and V3xx

Previous and very happy AT&T customer who "migrated". Cannot beleive I paid to have the opportunity to resign a contract. I did get a few phones out of the deal. My teenaged daughter has since paid for those with instant messaging fees... .. My Wife and I get echos, dropped calls, network busy, call failed, etc. nearly every day, especially at rush hour... ..if you can consider our rush a rush in Montgomery. I was told the call quality was due to towers changing from AT&T to Cingular. I do not want to hear that excuse unless they are willing to discount my bill to match the crap service. Not a happy camper with Cingular.

I live right behind Wal-Mart, infamous for its zero reception. Therefore I get horrible reception in my home.

I agree with the comment of the Walmart issue and Sprint. I can never recieve any calls in the store and Lowes as well also. Now on the road and traveling I have had great service but the deal I got along time ago I can't afford to switch so for now I am stuck until someone comes along with a great opportunity. Someone in my family has Verizon and the service is great not sure how it would be traveling outside the county or state any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I use my cell phone every day driving to and from work. I drop calls several times a week, all on the west side of Montgomery. Every day driving home from work, I lose my signal completely once I turn off Hwy. 14 on to Co. Rd.47 (Golson Road). We can barely get a decent enough signal at home to make and receive calls. I would switch carriers in a minute if I didn't have 4 lines on my plan, each with a service contract. AT&T leaves a lot to be desired in my part of the state.

T-Mobile has run out of local numbers in the Prattville / Montgomery area! NO IDEA how they could be so stupid (it really should not come as a surprise that you can only fit 9999 phone numbers into a given prefix) but they've done it. You literally have to wait for someone to move or die in order to get a local number.

I'm all the time in Wal-Mart because there is no other place to go. No cell phone reception sucks because I totally miss calls. If you have no service it wont even let you know you missed one or have a voicemail till about a hour later.
