Text msgs make it through unreliably and seemingly at random. Telephone reception comes and goes while standing still on a calm day. Browser access to Net is not possible. Moving into area and am concerned about lack of service. I see that T-Mobile touts a "good" level connection. I may try their WiFi hotspot device and see if I can acess the Net - as long as its returnable if I can't. Don't want to give up Verizon as my phone carrier. Their cell service is great, coast-to-coast. Its their abysmal customer service and website that I would not miss.

Nearest cell tower is approx. 2 miles away, terrain hilly between. Signal loss happens a lot, even when connected it drops out frequently. Actual signal level bars fluctuate greatly, from none to 4 on my phone, averaging at 2 bars. This happens from within my home but ouside is no different. Difficult to get a signal for a call much of the time. Coverage map shows area to have a couple blank places here, presumably caused by the terrain where the tower gets blocked.
