I can get phone service all over Baldwin Co. without a problem - except on some of the desolate county roads where the roads dip down... I may drop a call there. My husband has AT&T and he is CONSTANTLY asking me if he can use his phone because he either cannot get a signal or his call gets dropped repeatedly. Blackberry makes a durable phone because he has thrown his numerous times. He hates AT&T and I can see why. I love Verizon. Yea... would like an iphone... but I have an android and there are comparable apps for the adroid.

You can thank Spanish Fort city council Members Mary Brabner and Mike McMillan for casting thier NO votes on ATT building a new cell tower on the Causeway.

I laugh when I see the commercial for AT&T where they say "the fewest dropped calls". Well... I used to laugh... it really pisses me off now. AT&T is the worst possible cell phone provider. I cannot believe how they keep growing! I think they periodically adjust their towers because I used to be able to talk on the phone while driving across the causeway. now, If I make a call when I'm leaving Baldwin County, I lose it a minimum of 3 times by the time I get out of the tunnel in Mobile! Sometimes, I just stare at the phone waiting for at least one bar so I can redial the number. That is NOT good for business! I really wish AT&T cared about their customers in Alabama.

Constantly dropped calls in Spanish Fort (top of the hill, Causeway) and in Mobile (top of Cochran Bridge, McGregor Street, etc). Very lousy customer service -- even wrote a letter, never received a response.
