For the past two months, reception in Talladega has been spotty at best. For the past 3 weeks or so, all received calls go straight to voice mail, there is a huge lag in texting time and mobile internet is nonexistent. For the past week, there has been practically no service at all, despite having "full bars". I know several people that have called to complain and have either been told that there is not a problem in Talladega or that it is a tower issue that will be resolved within 48 hours--though the problems still persist.

I have had poor service for over a month, today(0ct 15, 2010) I have not been able to get out any or recive calls or text from AT&T. I have been given the run-a-round and gave a $25 credit whcih does not messure up to the lack of service I have endured. I went to the FCC complaint website and sent a complaint, I encourage everyone in this area to do the same. Enough is enough. I want to go to another service and do not feel I should have to pay the early cancelation fee. I'm sure I am not alone.

AT&T reception is very poor in Talladega City especially between the hours of 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Lately, it has been far worse than ever. At times, my text messages (sent / received) have been delayed by at least six hours or not at all-even some of my voice mail messages are not being received. Most, if not all, of the AT&T carriers that I have spoken to share the same experiences... and who has time to call AT&T, wait and wait and wait, talk to a representative one can barely understand, and then be transferred to another department only to have to retell the problem??! It is very, very frustrating-and that's putting it very mildly. The best option is to switch carriers-no sense in continuing to pay for horrible service.

I have updated my Cingular phones over the years from an old analog. Each upgrade, my service gets worse. I now cannot get any bars at my land. Coverage map says I should get good coverage.
