I don't know what the deal is, but I have had nothing but perfect service with Alltel! I had Cingular in the past and nothing but trouble. My parents have Cingular and the phone drops their calls every 15 to mins on the dot wherever they are even though they have gone through two new phones. I Have dropped probably 2 calls since I have had the service in 6 mos and got credits for both dropped calls Automatically! I have been from Harrison to Little Rock to Heber Springs with no Problems. The customer service is excellent and helpful too, which I didn't get with Cingular. I don't know what the fuss is about because Cingular is not as great as everybody carrys on!

In the yard or in the house: 0-1 bars. Top of my driveway: 2-3 bars. Professional car kit in my truck with external antenna: 4-5 bars. My phone drops calls constantly at home. Decent reception elsewhere.
