Had great service until about two weeks ago at home. Now signal is like it was when I first moved and Verizon did not even have a tower. Bought brand new phone thinking it was caused by my old phone... Very upset. Put in a tech ticket and haven't heard back.

I use my phone all over the BV area indoors and out and have found no reception problems at all. I was worried because all I heard was nothing comes in clear except for Cingular. I am very happy with T-mobile.

Multiple attempts over several days rarely obtain more than 1 or 2 bars reception. When a signal is available, a number can be dialed or incoming calls will ring, but the signal is lost within seconds after a call is established

Have had Verizon here for 2 years, purchasing my phone in Joplin because at the time, Verizon didn't have stores here. Reception has always been great. I work in McDonald Cty and with the exception of sometimes losing my signal outside the Jane, MO Walmart (which every carrier does for some reason), I have very rarely lost a signal or dropped a call. The other carriers plans are less expensive than Verizon though... ... that's why I wanted to check coverage. Looks like if you use your phone in Fayetteville / Bentonville you'll be fine with any carrier. But, if you go east to the Lake or north into Missouri, your best bet is Verizon. Customers need to make sure they're programming their phones though; your carrier will tell you how to do this. Doing this will improve your reception at home or when you travel.
