Free roaming off other towers, service is great. Trying to get a T-Mobile number changed from out of state to the local 870 area code is not going to be easy. T-Mobile says "There are no 870 numbers available".

I use the phone to access the internet and get 28% to 58% signal strength. That makes downloading diffucult at best. Still 500% better than the dial-up Natco offered, however.

Had a Gait phone, NEVER had a problem for two years. Renewed my contract was told I had to get a new phone as Cingular no longer does gait phones, only GSM. Have had crappy service every since. Almost every call gets dropped unless Im traveling out of my area, then around major cities I get good signal. But between cities traveling when I used to have full signal I now get nothing. If this is their "great new coverage" They can stuff it. No way to get out of there 2 year contract, Im just screwed. Thanks Cingular! GREAT service :( :( My advice, STAY AWAY from Cingular! They created a great new system that has very very poor coverage and many many dropped calls. I travel nation wide. This isnt just at home, its across the country unless your in a major city.
