I have been with T-Mobile for about 6 months coverage area and reception just as good if not better than when I had Att. T mobile much more affordable also. Noticed Friday getting 4g in some areas of jonesboro and even more 4g today. I hope In a few days will have 4G all over Jonesboro. Also now a large dead spot at farville curve but it just started with the 4g upgrade sure it will be fixed as they finish the upgrade. Only down side is no loc al store but easy to do business online or over phone.

Reception in Jonesboro is piety good overall. However I can't get reception at all when i'm in the cafeteria on campus. There is wifi however, so i'm able to use wifi calling. Also, I noticed something interesting today as I was driving from campus. I happened to glance at my phone and I saw I had zero bars of 4G. It then switched back to Edge after a second

I live south of highway 49 in the subdivision south of where the new NEA Baptist hospital is being built. Everyone has poor phone service here.

rarely can my family take or make a phone call without having to walk outside and wandering around the yard to keep a signal. my internet is very slow when I actually can get it. have complained to verizon, and all i've been told is that they are doing studies to decide whether or not to build another tower close by. it's ridiculous. our bill is 140.00 per month and this is the service we get. 6 years with the same company, we have never missed a payment. and it just costs too much to buy out of the contract. very, very disappointed with the situation.

The coverage was perfect up in tell 3 months ago but I been I just started to get a $25 a credit a month for the poor service they can't figure out. They say the tower I am connecting to is conflicting with another carrier and receiving more traffic than it use to so they told me I can get a network extender but that cost $99 with there discount they will give me. Like the person said above with Verizon you don't have to worry where you go in the United States you have coverage there is just very poor service issues around this part of Nettleton Ave right now.

There is full signal everywhere I go in North East Arkansas. I get good data speed and I love it. No 3G yet but they are fitting a tower nearby so very soon.

Verizon cell reception good here. I travel the country -big towns, small towns- working and am happy with reception. Would like to see a all-one-package (data,internet,phone) for $50ish monthly.

lots of dropped calls average 30 a day. lots of missed calls. as of 12-16-2009 tmobile says they have no plans of increasing coverage in this area.

I hate that there is no 3G signal with AT&T. I have family in a town in OHIO with 5000 people that has 3G coverage and I can't get it here. More coverage means more customers and from people like me, more money I am spending on Itunes and apps.

I have to stand outside to make a phone call. If I sit at my computer in my bedroom I get dropped calls or people cut out. There is a cell tower a block away too! It's also b.s. that there is no 3G coverage in Jonesboro, AR and this is a college town! I'm paying $30 a month to use 3G data services, but there isn't any 3G service here! I wonder if there is some sort of lawsuit that can be brought up about this. Forcing people to pay for a service which isn't available in their area... I hope to God that Verizon picks up iPhone 4G when the exclusivity contract between Apple and AT&T ends. I'm so breaking my contract and switching providers. Verizon / Alltel has had 3G coverage in Jonesboro for over a year now, and soon to have 4G next year from what I hear... WTF AT&T, this is 2009!

I have called and tried to get AT&T to help with the reception that I receive. They just tell me that I am on the nearest tower, which doesn't solve anything. I was told last year that there would be more towers for better service. How long does it take?

I have HELIO service, they use Sprint's towers. Reception in Jonesboro, AR is great. Never a dropped call, always in a 3G area, never went to 1x. Was always able to surf, send mms, etc. Even out as far as Hilltop, going to Paragould. I'm impressed /

I've never had any problems with Cingular anywhere in Paragould or Jonesboro... .I have no service out in Beech Grove but it's great everywhere else.
