Experience low QoS in this area with Cingular. At about Fair Park Blvd. I dropped a call yesterday, though usually it just breaks up and I have to tell the person on the other end to 'hang on' a bit. Without a PDA phone I doubt you'd have a dropped call; just low signal strength and QoS.

Excellent Sprint PCS coverage in parts of the village; other parts not so great. Better than Cingular by far. Get the roaming plan if you use Sprint in a rural state like Arkansas. It only costs $5 extra and allows for unlimited roaming.

AT&T has good coverage in Little Rock. There is one location in NLR, where a call always drops when passing through, with that being the transition from I-40 to 67 / 167 to Jacksonville. Every phone I've owned while an AT&T customer has dropped the call when passing through that area.

AT&T for the most part work well in Little Rock. There is one spot that a call always drop when traveling through, and that is the translation from I-40 to 67 / 167 to Jacksonville. Love my iPhone 4, highly recommend it.

I have no service with Sprint. Every time I place a call it says "Welcome to Verizon Wireless, you call can not be completed as dialed. Please hang up and try again." I hate Sprint. My family has Verizon and love it. I will be looking into them.

My Verizon service is great. Remember you need to do *228 option 2 to get any new updates from towers or you can be left with no service. If ti still doesn't help, call tech support and they will send a code to your phone which will help. You can only call, you cant go to the store to get it.

Usually get 1-2 bars in my house, sometimes no reception and call is dropped. I cancelled wireless internet service with Sprint because of no reception. Customer service personnel are nice but unbelievably lengthy and usually cut off the call by accident. I have literally spent hours trying to resolve problems with my plan, erroneous charges etc. Time is money so Sprint is not worth it!

When heading North on I-430 over the river bridge, Cingular's network sometimes drops my call. There is always degredation of service. This problem does not present itself in a noticeable fashion when heading South on the same bridge.

Too many drop calls. Alltel's answer to this problem is that they will credit the customer 1 minute back to their account. Wow what a bargain! My advice go with someone else.

Near-perfect reception all over the Little Rock metro area, but *incredibly* bad dropped calls to the point that my service is unusable. AT&T made some change about a month ago (mid-to-late July, 2004) that have turned both of my NEC 525 phones into basically paper-weights due to the unbelievable frequency of dropped calls (9 out of 10 calls last between 15 seconds to 2 minutes before being dropped) even though they have near-perfect reception 99.9% of the time. I have friends on AT&T who have other model phones and have no problems, so it may be some small incompatability that they introduced recently that only affects the NEC phones. Beats me, and AT&T has been no help at all. Rating: Reception - 10/10, Reliability - 1/10.

I live 10 miles due south of downtown Little Rock. Our signal strength is poor. We have cellphones and wireless access card. Cell phones can have up to 20 dropped calls a day! Internet constantly switches between HSDPA and EDGE, with occasional drops. AT&T sort of admitted that the iPhone sales has diminished network performance, see DSL Reports story "AT&T (Sort Of) Admits To iPhone Network Strain"

Excellent coverage here. Best coverage in Little Rock. Beats Cinguar hands-down. Call quality is better on Sprint's 1900 MHz network, and EV-DO supports up to 1 megabit of data bandwidth compared to 144k with EDGE (the GSM standard for data).
