AT&T pretty much works everywhere I go. There have only been a few times my reception hasn't been great but it's normally been out in really rural areas. I have all my bars in my home which is off Camp Robinson. A lot of times people ask to use my phone if they don't have coverage.
Reception is great and very few dropped calls. But if you have an old phone when contract expires, get ready for a automatic "Service Required" message. You take the phone in to them and they explain how that you need to renew your contract. And by the way, they are giving away phones for renewal.
