AT&T has been researching the problem since Christmas. They gave me a minitower. Did not help Said I was touching my cheek with the phone. Not so. I had it laying on the table when I called. Said it was the other persons phone. Not so. It dropped Apples and At&T calls. Sent out a technician to test service by may 18,2011. Did not happen. Now six months later they say it is the ITOUCH, but will not pay my expensives of phone diagnositics if they are wrong.

I was with AT&T Wireless when I first moved to AR, but then Cingular picked them up. Immediately dead spots I had going home on rt 331 north from Russellville became active. I used to have to pull off at a small church on the way home due to a lack of reception beyond it all the way to and including my home. Now I have good reception everywhere, inside or outside. For a short while, we were something called NEAT Wireless (Cingular was prevented from covering our area for monopoly reasons). Then "reason" prevailed and now we are full-time Cingular and happy to be so. I travel up north a lot and my coverage on those trips is also pretty solid. And being on the GSM plan means no roaming charges anywhere. They even upgraded me to a cameraphone free! So far so good with Cingular.

Cingular gives excellent reception in my area. I rarely ever have any problems.
