alltel used to have great service out here but has lately(past year)degraded to a below average service.ive had 4 different phones with all the same problem.

Reception is pretty good out here. I have only dropped two or three calls in the last four months. Service is pretty consistent all the way across the valley. However, there is one spot on Estrella Pkwy. just as you enter Estrella from the north that the signal drops and I almost always lose the call there. It only last for about fifteen seconds. Just a stupid spot behind a hill.

It's like I have no phone. I can't call, or text. ATT told me to call customer service from a landline in my home, which I don't have. This stinks. :(

AT&T is supposed to be raising the bar... .yeah right. I get no reception in my house or rarely anywhere, what good is paying all this money for a plan that doesn't even work. Upgraded phones and they still SUCK. Not to mention their customer service are rude and of no help. Guess I need a carrier who can provide service, God forbid if I have to call 911!

At&T which became Cingular had my contract for about 1.5 years in that time it worked on avg in the Peoria area. Moved to the Vado / Buckeye area and the reception went to zero once I got off the I10. Cingular service reps had me buy two different phones (GSM and CDMA) both worked no better. After spending $400+ on the phones I asked to be taken off the contract and they said they'd understood and released me at 0 cost. Later customer service reneged on the deal and told me to submit their agreement in writing. They screwed me and sent my case to collections because I hadn't asked for a letter even after speaking to several customer service reps. and got nowhere. Paid an additional $250+100 in collections costs. Cingular is low -> get it in writing

I get poor reception at best and the only time I can make a call is if I drive to Goodyear. And even then some places in Goodyear have crappy reception. My favorite is when I get 3-4 bars indicated but my calls fail or my call gets dropped in the first few minutes. I can't make any calls from home. I'm paying for a service I don't use.

Just switched from AT&T to a Cingular plan and still get the great coverage I had. I always have 5 bars in the house and out. I work and shop in Goodyear / Avondale, and never have a problem with the coverage, unless I go into the Wal-Mart Supercenter where I get 1 or 2 bars. I'm perfectly happy with the service and a nice phone.

I can barely make a call from my house... reception is terrible and even driving down the street there is a dead zone where calls are dropped. Verizon sucks out here

Signal drops out. Have good signal then drops call. Sometimes no g coverage. Had alltell and was perfect until forced to merge with Verizon. Now all phone calls cut in and out and words are hard to understand. Very disappointed.

Dropped calls and at times the internet just doesn't work. Verizon says they will be upgrading the Buckeye area soon but that is what they said six months ago.
