I have to stand outside apartment to use. Actually saw another person standing outside to use their cell phone too. Asked him what phone he had and he said it was cingular. We laughed. I guess it's good to use Cingular if you like standing outside...

It seems to be getting worse too. Can't be the phone because my wife has Cingular too and has the same poor service.

I always have full bars with my Cingular service on the Blackberry 8700C. Excellent coverage and rollover has me 1000+ in the positive.

Sprint is horrible. One second there are two to three bars, the next 'SIGNAL FAILED'. I work from home and can't do it with my current phone. It drops almost every call (unless I'm in my livingroom with one arm lifted up and the other aiming out of the window). Junk. So being in a family plan I have to pay $400 for terminating two phones. But it's better than losing even 1 client, who I've had to call back 3 times in one conversation due to lost calls. It sound like Verizon is the way to go at my location. Thanks for the comments. Great web site.

Rarely have any signal issues anywhere in the Valley, especially at home. Want to switch carriers due to Verizon's unfuriating phone-crippling practices, but great service and sound quality otherwise.

Don't know why I continue to pay for this cell phone. Can't even use it at my home. Have to leave the neighborhood. Then they want to offer free phone with an extended 2 year contract. What a joke. Both of my daughters have T-Mobile and can't get service at my house. Like I said why continue to pay.
