LG gets reception when no other phone can. I'm a power lineman and work all over Arizona. I love making bets with people signed with other cell carriers on reception. I was a first responder cell communication with 911 at a car rollover. The only other person that could make a call was on Verizon with an LG phone. There were over 100 people at the area. It backed up traffic for 4 hours. The Air-evac helecopter used the GPS signal from my phone to find the site. My phone saved a life.

Reception is week at best. My phone will show that I have 4 bars and then I'll enter a number only to have it drop to 0 and say digital service not available. That's at home, elsewhere I usually have 2 bars of signal, but drop calls often. On 89A from Cottonwood to Sedona sometimes I won't drop a call, sometimes I can't keep a call. On the way back from Sedona, I'll drop 10 calls. Go with Verizon, if you plan on getting a phone in the area. I can't wait unill my contract with Sprint expires 02/05.
