Phone calls drop from House. They updated the phone to include the new Tower (which is farther away from the old tower) and reception is still poor and still get dropped calls from home.

Had no problems acquiring 3G signal and at least 4 bars until about a month ago. I can no longer get any sort of service in my home on Frye and Higley, and even when near this area, it is spotty at best. Numerous dropped calls, no internet access, and no texting whatsoever. I'm not sure what happened, but I even returned my iPhone and got a replacement on warranty thinking that it was an issue with the phone, and tried again tonight, and nothing! AT&T has always been pretty bad, but this is absolutely ridiculous... maybe an issue of the iPhone 4 launch, a network outtage, normal crappy service, or a large pile of cellphone kryptonite hiding beneath my house, or all of the above. Stay away from AT&T!

Zip code is actually 85297, form said it was a bad zip code... Bad coverage at my house, sometimes 1-2 bars, sometimes none. Very unreliable. Spoke to a guy at the Cingular store and he said there's a tower going up at Power and Queen Creek, so hopefully that'll improve the situation here.

AT&T just got worse when they went to Cingular. Dropped calls all the time, and everywhere. Cricket is better than Cingular and Sprint!

Reception is so poor I don't get ringing, but the you have messages tone when I come into a strnger area. Calls are dropped, You can't hear the person you called nor they you intermitted. I will never deal with Sprint or Nextel ever again. I have had big problems with both regardless of the phone model. Verizen seems to be furnish the best reception in this area, I don't know about others, but historically AT&T has been poor in Gilbert from Elliot south between McQueen and Val Vista or the eastern city limits. My contract lasts until Nov, but attempts to stop service because of the inability to receive calls, carrys no weight with the provider. DO NOT BUY a Sprint phone if you live in these areas!

Never a dropped call, strong service, and that holds true for pretty much everywhere I go in the valley (no exaggerating.) I'm mostly in the east valley(Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Tempe) but also Scottsdale and PHX, good in Glendale too. Only issue I have is the phone doesn't work well in some (I stress some) steel buildings. I was tempted to Switch to Sprint PCS because I really like the Treo 650 PDA Phone, and as of today (9 / 1 / 05) they've completed another phase of the merger (Sprint / Nextel), but I'm not reading good things about them. I'd like to hear more stories from Sprint PCS users.
