I absolutely love Verizon Wireless. I've had phones through Sprint and Cingular and never been more happy with a cellular company's cell service or customer service as I have been with Verizon for these past few years!

Got out of ATT plan as they could not call me at home. It took four calls and a week but got someone to tell me I was in a "low bandwidth area" getting zero coverage. I had five phones and they let me out of the contract. I had ATT in Dallas and in the East and it was awesome... .they are not a bad company, just no coverage in my house.

You can't go wrong with Alltel. I have had them for 10 years and have never had a problem with dropped calls or bad reception. Calling from other states is a charm... ..I would never switch my service as long as Alltel is in business.

I've had flawless voice and data service for 1.3 years with T-Mobile. Reception varies between 2 and 5 bars in various parts of the house and time of day. It has been reliable enough to allow mobile service to replace my long-gone fixed line. Keeping the same phone number is a big plus. I couldn't be happier with my T-Mobile service in this area.

Usually 5 Bars... sometimes 4. At work I get 5 Bars... my co-workers with Sprint / Cingular / Verizon get 1 if at all. BUT at home I get 1-2 Bars... go figure.

No matter where I am at, I have great reception. Even better when I had the LG. The model of phone will improve your reception, but myself and my family have been with Sprint, Qwest, Cingular, t-mobile, and verizon,none of Which have the reception that Alltel does. All the way from Phoenix to Laughlin, thru the mountains I had reception. In the elevators at work I have perfect reception.

I love Verizon me and my girlfriend have had them for 3 years great service everywhere I even go camping here in arizona and it works in the mountains. Even when I dont' want to be called HA HA HA.

If you use coverage as the utmost criteria for selecting a carrier than Alltel is the way to go. I have been an Alltel customer for more than 10 years with ALMOST no complaints about their coverage. I have had coverage where other users have not. From here in Phoenix to Prescott, Page, Horseshoe Lake, LA, Chicago, Denver and even a place called Steamboat Lake in the nether regions of Northern Minnesota near Bemidji (just this side of Canada) and Honolulu Hawahii. Coverage is unbeatable. Customer service however is another story. They USED to be tops but it seems that they have slipped quite a ways down the ladder. They USED to do everything in their power to keep their customers happy but in the last few years they have developed the attitude that if you aren't happy then go somewhere else. I am currently exploring my options in that regard. Being from the "old school" I will sacrifice some coverage in order to find someone who actually WANTS my business and is willing to earn it. Not having a lot of luck so maybe I am going to strike out evenutally.

Excellent Reception in all surrounding areas - The only close dead spot is Glendale Community College which is supposed to have a T-Mobile tower put up in the next couple of months. I can't remember the last time I dropped a call! And I use my phone A LOT!

I had Verison for a year and during that time, I could not place or receive calls from my area; Verizon said it was because they didn't have all their towers up yet. I wouldn't even receive any voice mails. I also did not like the customer service. as soon as my contract was up, I went to T-Mobile, and I like it much better. I especially llike not needing to keep track of the peak and off peak times (anytime minutes) - but I have much better reception as well. My husband has the same phone but is with Sprint and has good reception from here. Verizon has improved out here, but due to the poor in-store customer relations at Arrowhead, I will no do business again.
