No Verizon network, extended network via Mohave Wireless. Picture messages very slow, if at all. Calls are ok, sometimes phone re-boots because of the weak network. Wish Verizon would come in to the Kingman area or Mohave Wireless upgrade so 3G coverage is available in the greater Kingman area, which it presently is not.

6 years with Sprint and we're tired of the constant fighting and lousy customer service. Now they tell us they have dropped coverage in our area. Requests for referrals from friends are all negative, especially toward Mohave Wireless. What to do?

Sketchy at best! Over the past five years living at this location, the service has been a gamble; sometimes okay, other times non-existent. Complaints seem to improve the quality temporarily; NOW it's horrible - seldom able to make / receive calls within our home, and sometimes not even outside. We've received a few refunds along the way and even once offered to end contract. Argh!

Will work for months without any trouble then the cell phone monster's take over can't even get my message's. And dropped calls is matter of fact! Never more then 2 bars. Somedays I want to just throw the phone! In town it's great. Go Fiqure-Sprint said it's because there is no tower near us we live in a roaming area. I really don't know what to except move???

VZW has basic service only, via Mohave wireless, once the local wireless carrier upgrades their hardware, feature service will be accessible. For now just txt and phone calls are function. On occasion a picture message if your lucky...

Spotty because of distance to any cell towers, but Sprint works with low amount of bars, Cell One, ATT, Nextel and Mohave wireless seem to only work on 4 or 5 bars

Lazy Yu ranch has hit and miss spots. Alltel uses other service for romings. However, they switches services from tower to tower. There is no way to tell which day point your cell phone to what direction.

I think because we live near a substantial hill, our reception in the house is variable. If we go outside, it gets better.

This is actually a comment on Mohave Wireless. I had cellular one and it was less than mediocre with the dropped calls. Verizon does not work out here. Sprint does not work and Cingular does not work I personnaly tried these phones at this location and have had friends try T mobil and that doesn't work. If you want the broadest range of signal get Mohave Wireless! They own most of the towers. If you want fancy commercials and lousy signal and service get one of the others. There is no comparison.

I mind as well forget that I have service with this provider once I hit the street I live on. I've had Sprint for 6 years. Have lived in the same home for 2 yrs. Now out of nowhere 6 months ago, I no longer have service at my home. Thier customer service stinks.. I put in a report but they said that since others haven't complained my call drop rate for that area is 1%.. That 1 % should really be coverage... They say they have a tower on beverly.. but I found out they don't.. What they do have is a partner contract on a dobson tower. Haven't found out what thier SID is yet to find out thier priority on that tower but it can't be much. They won't get another dime outta me, and they won't let me outta my contract no matter how many times I complain. I switched to Cingular and have great coverage at my home again.

This is just east of Kingman. Most of the time I am unable to make calls in this area. My missed calls, and Voicemail, do not work until I get in Kingman. At times when I call my Voicemail, it will not take a password, and will go to a Cingular Wireless automated message, even though I am with Verizon.

No real problems in town but there are dead spots on I 40 to Barstow (way too remote) and also on the way to Boulder from the hills. No problems in Laughlin or Bullhead city tho, all in all pretty good service. The dead spots are probably the same for everyone. One thing though, when I first got my phone I had terrible problems with roaming in my living room. I kept having to call and get credits. Finally I just went to a nationwide plan and there isn't any roaming anymore so it doesn't matter.

Cellular One seems to have the best coverage in Mohave County and has the best plans. Forget Sprint as the PCS frequencies dont work well in rural areas. The wireline carrier Mohave Wireless is so far behind technology and plan wise they really arent in the game. The newbees like Cingular Nextel T-Mobile etc are way behind coverage wise.

If you're driving from Phoenix to Las Vegas, except no coverage between Kingman and Boulder City, and again between Kingman and Wickenburg.
