Continued great reception here after moving from Phoenix. Although new service isn`t available here, existing customers can roam free on the Mohave Wireless network.

Cellular One seems to have the best coverage in Mohave County and has the best plans. Forget Sprint as the PCS frequencies dont work well in rural areas. The wireline carrier Mohave Wireless is so far behind technology and plan wise they really arent in the game. The newbees like Cingular Nextel T-Mobile etc are way behind coverage wise.

No Verizon network, extended network via Mohave Wireless. Picture messages very slow, if at all. Calls are ok, sometimes phone re-boots because of the weak network. Wish Verizon would come in to the Kingman area or Mohave Wireless upgrade so 3G coverage is available in the greater Kingman area, which it presently is not.

No real problems in town but there are dead spots on I 40 to Barstow (way too remote) and also on the way to Boulder from the hills. No problems in Laughlin or Bullhead city tho, all in all pretty good service. The dead spots are probably the same for everyone. One thing though, when I first got my phone I had terrible problems with roaming in my living room. I kept having to call and get credits. Finally I just went to a nationwide plan and there isn't any roaming anymore so it doesn't matter.

VZW has basic service only, via Mohave wireless, once the local wireless carrier upgrades their hardware, feature service will be accessible. For now just txt and phone calls are function. On occasion a picture message if your lucky...

6 years with Sprint and we're tired of the constant fighting and lousy customer service. Now they tell us they have dropped coverage in our area. Requests for referrals from friends are all negative, especially toward Mohave Wireless. What to do?

Will work for months without any trouble then the cell phone monster's take over can't even get my message's. And dropped calls is matter of fact! Never more then 2 bars. Somedays I want to just throw the phone! In town it's great. Go Fiqure-Sprint said it's because there is no tower near us we live in a roaming area. I really don't know what to except move???

Spotty because of distance to any cell towers, but Sprint works with low amount of bars, Cell One, ATT, Nextel and Mohave wireless seem to only work on 4 or 5 bars

I think because we live near a substantial hill, our reception in the house is variable. If we go outside, it gets better.

OK down the main drag, but go into neighborhoods, and you lose most reception. This rating is an average.
