Very bad reception, lots of dropped calls. Got an airwave and I never have more than 2 bars. The phone itself does weird things and sometimes does not work at all. This last time I had to plug it into my computer and it finally came back up and worked.

Very poor service. Made multiple calls to verizon, they say it's my house and try to sell me a repeater. However signal is still crappy up to a mile away from my house. Lots of excuses from verizon, but no service!

Sprint service is atrocious in this area. Phone drops calls all the time... Looking to switch, but which carrier has a decent signal here???

I love this phone, but the reception stinks! Even in my home I only get reception some of the time. I used to use a Verizon LG enV Touch and I never had any problem with coverage in this area.

Very inconsistent coverage for telephone. Internet browsing and data are fine.

coming from the east coast I was suprised on how poor AT&T coverage is out here. makes me want to get rid of the best phone on the planet - iphone. come on AT&T build more towers!

no bars or reception in the area. Have two roommates all moved here together (military) and bourght ATT with us. You have to leave the housing edtion to get a signal. ATT says their map shows coverage so won't let us out of the contracts. You cannot make or receive a call here.

Can sit phone in one place and service goes in and out all day... .Signal strength, 1 bar to no signal at all. Sometimes for 3 to 5 mins I'll have no signal, sometimes have to turn phone off and back on to get a signal... . Junk phone, junk service, Out West.. ATT operates off other provider towers, I don't think they have there own being and east coast based company... .. Phone works great in Jersey and New York... Go figure

I Have Cingular and can't wait for July when my contract is up. It is amusing to read the comments from people who have totally different makes of phones, but were told that it was "the phone's fault." That is exactly what we were told. Cingular even sent us new phones after I spent 2 1 / 2 hours on the line fighting with them. The new phones work no better than the old ones did. I did speak to one customer rep who admitted that the coverage in our area is extremely poor. When I mentioned this to a supervisor during my 2 1 / 2 hour ordeal, he denied it and said I must have "misunderstood" the comment.

No service in the Luke AFB area by any provider. Somebody will make some coin when they decide to put a tower out here. T-Mobile, Verizon, and Cingular all suck at this location. Signal meter only shows an antenna, no bars.

I live in Dreaming Summit. I get crap for service. I can't put all the blame on Verizon because I have been with Nextel, AT&T, Cricket, and T-Mobile too. They all suck for the people who live in Dreaming Summit.

Up the street reception is better. At Indian School, recption is poor

Crap service in the area surrounding Luke AFB. Constantly dropping calls. I will usually lose the signal about 10 times during a 30 minute call. What kind of service is this? I'm going back to using my home phone for long distance and get one of those pre-paid phones for out and about. Is this reverse technology???

Horrible signal strength. Need to reboot the phone while holding it up to get any service. Pretty useless inside buildings. The situation is basically the same as not having service.

Very bad dead zone in Wigwam Creek community and the Albertson's plaza at Dysart and Indian School Rd. I spoke with a rep at the Cingular store just up the road and he agreed that it was a dead zone and they hope to get more towers there. When? He had no idea. He recommended I switch to Motorola phone, but my neighbors use various types of phones and carriers and still get awful reception in their home, yard, driveway, and going around the community.
