Just received my phone with Alltel service and took it up to Mt Lemmon along with my existing Verizon phone. Both the Verizon phone and my friends Sprint phone had 3 bars. Alltell had ZERO. Phone service in this area with Alltel should be renamed "Nobar"

Very good reception even as you get further from the Interstate. I work in construction so I'm all over the area. With all the emphasis I put on being able to get ahold of anywhere I recommend Alltel to anybody that needs good reception all over the area. My signal is just about always better than others so I'm very satisfied with the service.

Qwest offers the worst cell phone coverage ever. Can't use the phone for 5min straight without losing call.

We have had particularly good service since moving to Tucson (from Houston). So far, we've only found one bad spot -- while driving on Orange Grove near 1st street. We consistently have calls dropped on that route. And there is at least one other dead area on 1-10 East, between Tucson and Benson, AZ.
