Newly purchased iphone together with conversion to ATT proved useless as home area has maximum one bar to NO Service. Emasculates the features of the phone. Will have to return to Verizon.

The only phone I can get to work in my house is Cingular. I also had a antenna installed for $500. Paradise Valley board is a bunch of backward people. They are afraid of anything that doesn't dial!

Sprint has horrible coverage in Paradise Valley. I have to use my landline to make phone calls when at home and not use my cell phone at home or in PV, all my calls get dropped.

I get excellent reception everywhere in the metro area except where I live. I always have two to three bars at my home, but 30 to 40 percent of calls are dropped or garbled. Verizon says the cell tower was upgraded in january. It must be the mountain in the way.

Although reception has been generally good in the Scottsdale and Phoenix area, it has been very poor in the vicinity of my home. Often can't call out at all. Incoming calls frequently don't ring and are routed to voice mail. Virgin Mobile uses the Sprint network so results for Sprint in these area may well be similar. I used to have a Verizon phone, and their coverage was quite good. I switched from Verizon to Virgin Mobile because I don't use a cell phone much and never even came close to using my monthly air time quota.
