Excellent PCS coverage around Payson Arizona and Star valley, but I've tried forcing digital roaming when the Sprint signal goes lower, and I always get a full set of bars.

I live in Payson and commuted to northern Scottsdale / Fountain Hills for a couple of years. My cell phone coverage was excellent with the Samsung N-400 (until it started getting too old). I usually had problems between Fort McDowell and the Bush Hwy. turnoff -- in and out reception. I have heard of few (if any) cell phone companies that have service in the Sunflower / Mount Ord area. As a comment to the AMEX employees, I worked in a few grocery stores in that area and had great service within the buildings. Perhaps AMEX has something in the walls or materials in the construction of the building that prevent service.
