I constantly get dropped calls. AT&T customer support is no help. I tried to get a supervisor and they won't put one on the phone. I tried to get one for over 2 hours yesterday. They won't honor their warranty. I have a phone that is 18 month's old and it is discontinued and they have nothing like it to replace it. AT&T sucks.

We get 1-2 bars just outside our apartment. I don't understand no reception, there is a tower not to far away. When we come inside it drops to nothing. When we first moved in in August there was some reception inside. It steadily got worse. A couple of times coming up the street where we live we dropped calls. Its as though we live in a dead spot. If changing carriers works then that would be great... just want to know which carrier to go with ? Cricket worked good until the last few months.

Looks like Cricket has put up a new tower in this area. My signal is now at peak as of this week.

No dropped calls. Signal strength is average. No real complaints here. They're better than the other prepaid companies, that's for sure.

Even with a less than perfect signal I rarely drop a call anywhere in Phoenix. Lost calls are 90% of the time dropped by the other party not by me. cricKet's service has become very reliable over the years in Phoenix. Or I just have a kick a** phone.

Very good coverage. I did not expect much since they are pretty much a low cost provider but, my service has been better than Sprint and Verizon in the Phoenix Metro area.

Squaw Peak (Piestewa) / 22nd St. / Glendale, Phoenix, AZ 85020 |

The houses in our neighborhood are on a hill that blocks reception from cell towers in the area. Line of sight could hit a tower at 22nd St.and Glendale if anyone decides to drop a cell in the area. Closest cell to best of my knowledge is at Glendale and the Squaw Peak freeway. (NOT ON the MAP) The tower is pretty huge and is owned and operated by (I believe) Arizona Department of Transportation (as are many cells along the freeway, which was built with some serious fiber trenched along it.) I can't get calls usually inside the house. If I go out on the driveway, in one or two spots I've found, I can keep calls from disconnecting every few minutes. HELP!

My Nextel drops over 10% of time after 15 minutes. I have gone back and forth with their technical department who always ask me if ANY other Nextel customers in my area has problems (like I would know any of them?) It's a pain to call - if you move your head after getting connected at anyplace inside or outside the house, you can be disconnected in this area.
