I switched to Sprint after 8yrs with AT&T becuz it was $50 / mo less. I travel in mainly central and north Phoenix, north Scottsdale, Carefree, Cave Creek, and Paradise Valley. 90% of the time I'm not on 4G, it's mostly Sprint's 3G or 1x. Even the 10% of the time I'm on 4G, it's never more than 3 bars. In spite of this, speaking on the phone seems to work ok most of the time(or at least it's manageable). However, the data speeds are inexcusable / atrocious.Was this review helpful to you?

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY ARE LIARS THEY NEVER PAY FOR YOUR CANCELLATION WHEN YOU SWITCH. ITS BEEN A YEAR SINCE I GOT TMOBILE AND I HAVE RECEIVED NO MONEY TO PAY OFF VERIZON. THANKS TO THAT I WILL BE RETURNING MY PHONE AND GETTING VERIZON AGAIN.Was this review helpful to you?
I have had nothing but trouble with AT&T. I have had the Galaxy 4 and now the Galaxy 5s, and I can't watch videos. I wait a long time for everything to come up, and sometimes it doesn't. I can't have Instagram because the pictures never come in. FB is a nightmare of gray boxes. I think Verizon or T-Mobile have more towers in North Phoenix.Was this review helpful to you?

I have been a Verizon customer since 2001, when I started selling their phones and services at RadioShack and later at Wal-Mart. Back then, I truly believed they had the superior service. but since the advent of 4G LTE, their service has gone downhill. When I am at home, I am connected to my Wi-Fi, but I just checked my signal strength and I have NO bars and a -97dB signal strength, and there's are to cell towers literally a stone's throw away from me! WTF?!?! It's even worse wher I work! Mostly I get a half-assed 3G signal there that drops to 1X! And when I called Verizon techical support, they tell me that the nearest tower is at least a mile away, and I work in a high-traffic business park. Their "remedy" is to have my employer install a repeater in our building. Now, I just tried upgrading my phone before their new pricing model went into effect. I thought I was "upgrading" my phone, but it turned out to be a "downgrade". And for the "next best" phone (which had a retail price difference of $72), they wanted $99. To get a phone that still has an SD card slot (like my old phone) would cost even MORE! So what the "F" am I paying for???? I barely use half of my 2Gb bandwidth allotment, and now they want to charge more! I've had enough, If I were to decide to upgrade my phone later under their new "business model", I'd be paying a monthly phone fee on top of the contract! Just another way to stick it to ya! Have had Verizon for 15 years. Have lived in same home with normal service for 11.5 years. In late May, no bars all of a sudden. 12 hours of talking finally got them to tell me they're upgrading my cell tower. Got 3G service, never 4 G, and base 3-bar phone service for about 3 weeks, then it disappeared again. They have now told me that I am now in what they call a limited service area due to something happening to my cell tower. The solution per them is to either buy a $250 network extender, or they will let me out of the contract with no charge. Basically, they told me thy just don't give a shit, and although they've admitted it's their fault, they won't give me the equipment because of their arrangement with Samsung. BS, BS, BS, BS! Seeing some of the other circumstances described on here about Verizon, I'd say their commercials are also full of shit!Was this review helpful to you?
