Reception is terrible here. Many dropped calls and calls that never ring and go into voice message- some DAYS later. We managed to get out of our contract and we are either going to go with Verizon or TMobil.
Most of the time I get no ring, call just goes to voice mail. Dropped calls very frequent. Dropped calls on Hwy. 101 in south Scottsdale area. Is there NO good phone service in north Phoenix / Scottsdale? If anyone has good service, I'd like to know which one.
My Nextel drops over 10% of time after 15 minutes. I have gone back and forth with their technical department who always ask me if ANY other Nextel customers in my area has problems (like I would know any of them?) It's a pain to call - if you move your head after getting connected at anyplace inside or outside the house, you can be disconnected in this area.
I have maybe 2 spots inside my house (standing on one leg with my other hand in the air) that I get reception and even going outside there are a limited number of spots. If I drive down the street maybe 200 yards, I'm back up to 4 bars. They're putting in one of the palm tree looking cell towers on the school grounds but how do I know if it will help me? Both my work phone and personal phone are through Verizon and I'm currently screwed.
The reception inside my house on Suncrest Court is absolutely HORRIBLE it's pretty much pointless to even have a cell phone around here... Every service that I've tested around here receives NO service and it's absolutely disappointing considering the technology these days. UNACCEPTABLE!
More than.25 mi off I-17 and you're dead with ATT. Numerous dead spots (including our new home) and even more dropped called. Forget 3G entirely if you're not on the interstate -- or at Starbucks.
