Rarely 3G with TMobile. No service inside office building or grocery store. No service at all in many parts of the state while Verizon is 4G level. Have to use wi-fi inside our house for internet use.

Well... to put it in less words... your data coverage and unlimited plans are a great deal... however... DATA SPEEDS SUCK HORRIBLY! EVERYWHERE IN ARIZONA! I went back to kansas recently where I am from and it was incredible. Had full bars with 4G the entire time. What is the hold up here in PHX... I get about 2-3 bars if I'm lucky. And a lot of times I cant even get data connection in my own house or at work. Even had the same problems when sitting outside at work... give me a break! You sell 4G but do not have it available... and the 3G that they do have is total garbage. Come on... give us something so we dont have to take it in the butt from verizon.

I have had Sprint for a few years. I have had HORRIBLE reception, no matter where I go. Im usually in Anthem. Took me 45 minutes, walking around the house, holding my phone in the air, just to send a text message. The only way I could ever do anything when I was there, was if I was roaming. So now Sprint terminated the contract due to excessive roaming (eventho we have unlimited roaming). the other places, Im lucky if I get one bar. Its ridiculous. We pay over $200 a month for the phones and get the worst reception. Plus, no 4g yet? Its ridiculous. Sprint SUCKS.. Straight talk uses the same towers and horrible reception for them also.

Verizon

Two weeks ago our service literally fell off the grid. 95% of the time we cannot make or receive phone calls. No problem with text messaging. Have contacted Verizon and never got a satisfactory answer. We suddenly find ourselves in a black hole with the solution Verizon suggest - buy their $250 net work booster. I consider this a breach of contract. Very disappointed in a company I was very happy with. Did they recently loose a contract on a cell tower that provided service to us?

AT&T

0 Out of 5 (0 stars) | Carefree Hwy. | 27th Dr., Phoenix, AZ 85085 |

Just moved to the area and found I have no reception in my apartment. I have to go out to the parking lot to make / receive calls ans or texts. A neighbor told me she had the same problem when she first moved in and called her carier, Sprint, and they sent her a free booster. I called AT&T hoping they, too, would provide a free solution. Their solution is a $200 tower that works through the internet / cable line. Very disappointed in AT&T. They have a known coverage issue and they would rather lose a customer by extorting $200 from them than solve the issue or provide a free solution. It sounds like Verizon has worked out the coverage and reception issues in my neighborhood. For what it's worth, I lived in this same neighborhood a year ago and never had a reception issue with AT&T. I now live closer to a mountain and assumed this is the reason for the reception issue. My contract is up and I'll be shopping for a new carrier.

Sprint is the worst! I have only had them for a few months and everything is awful about this provider. The.coverage renders my S3, to the capabilities of a old fashion camera pbone. No streaming videos, no music, cant do anything that requires data. Everywhere I go I receive less than 1mbs for download or upload speed. I will not stay with them as my carrier. I refuse to pay for a service that is not rendered. Sprint as a whole is a crook corporation!

Sprint. I was sold the 4G Evo phone 3 years ago with the promise that I would have 4G service within a few months. Still waiting. Horrible everywhere. It takes 2-3 minutes to get to any website. I broke my first Evo a year ago, replacement Evo, same issues. And within a a month, the screen became dusty. All of my friends have Verizon and they love it. I stuck with Sprint because of the price but as they say, you get what you pay for. Switching to Verizon, iPhone 5 or the latest Galaxy. Not sure which way I will go on the phone. Any thoughts.

Verizon

So I have had all the major carriers and while they all have issues Verizon has been by far the best for us. In my apartment we get over 30mbs speeds with 4g which is way beyond T-Mobile and AT&T 4g service and we all know how slow Sprint it. I do notice lower bars around tempe but still get over 10mbps so not bad at all. Never dropped a call. The best part about Verizon is if u travel a lot like we do there are very few dead zones around the country on highways and tons of 4g zones. If you can affordbthe premium of better service get Verizon. If you dont care about data speeds and want something cheap go with sprint. T-Mobile is laughable and gets no service for large areas when traveling and had major problems with AT&T claiming much higher data usage then actually used.

Half the time I have NO SERVICE -- I'm lucky if I get 2 bars - but that quickly fades. I have to go to my car and drive a block away to be able to call someone (standing in the middle of the street also works but it is loud and dangerous! The most annoying is that ATT wants me to pay a monthly fee ($19.99) to add a Micro Cell ($199) to my internet connection (Cox) in order to get better service! Is that F**Ked or what? CLASS ACTION ANYONE? How cam they claim they have full coverage when there isn't a cell phone tower miles around?
