I hate cingular! I cannot use my phone in my house or at my work. I do not believe they are the best for dropped calls, because every phone call I receive gets dropped. I will be switching soon.
Odd, this Alltel. I just switched from Sprint (don't ask me why - just kick me!) and have found that SOMETIMES I have coverage in my neighborhood (Desert Hills) with Alltel and sometimes not! This past weekend I couldn't make a call at all. Today (Monday) no problems! I am (as are many of you) caught up in a new 2 yr, so yep - no recourse except to say "thanks for the s_x lady" and move on - no longer term potential here! LOL Seriously, does anyone in my area (Desert Hills) get good service on Alltel while at home? If so, perhaps it is my phone. Post here if you can. Thanks!
I have to stand in my driveway to get at least one bar... ..many, many dropped calls. If you call Sprint and report dropped calls you will receive credit. Is it worth the hassel? No! The person you were speaking with is wondering what happend and why you have not called back. I'm dropping Sprint and going with Verizon!
Never a problem with reception or dropped calls in my neighborhood, or throughout the Phoenix area for that matter. Reception generally very generous throughout much of AZ, NV, and CA, even most rural areas (roaming, though).
Sprint likes to rip you off on bill, be aware of this bastards. Signals in Phoenix Area is all right, but I am not satisfied with their plans and if you want a new phone they dont let you renew your plan, they just charge you the full price for the phone, and customer service sucks, every time you call them the stupid automated system takes for ever. Phones; personaly I think they have crapy phones, I am actually thinking about going back to T-mobile, but I wasnt satisfied with them that much, but I guess in that time when I had a crapy service I had a bad phone. I am loan officer so I need lot of minutes so I dont really know who to get anymore, but also if you have somebody overseas T-Mobile is great for text messaging.
No coverage in our home at all. Yet Qwest won't let us out of our 2 year plan as "somewhere in Phoenix you have coverage". I think 2 year plans need to be outlawed along with if no coverage in your home - then you can get out of the plan free - no penalities. Why do these corporations think it is okay to steal our hard earned money? It's time we stop letting them screw us over - remember we pay the CEO's large salary when we buy their products!
