8 of 10 calls will be dropped due to poor reception. Signal strength rises and falls to 0 constantly. Verizon Tech will not repair. They say there are no plans to fix this area

Always had good 3G coverage, and HSPA+ speed in Pheonix. I only lose 3G in a few places like in Ikea's lower level floor in Tempe. Otherwise I have 3G most of the time. Sprint / AT&T are horrible. Sprint is always switching to 1X and AT&T is just dismal overall.

Cannot connect at my location which is roughly 500 feet from the corner of 51st Ave and West Camelback. There are 4 cel towers visable from this location. My signal strengh is usually -109 (no bars).. When I had Sprint I had 5 bars here. I wanted the iPhone which I have had since it's introduction. During this time I have had only 5 months of good signal ATT told me that my luck was caused by their renting towers AT&T new motto. "Less bars in anyplace!"

Zero to 1 bar inside home. 4 bars outside. Wife has Alltel, son #1 has T-Mobile son #2 has AT&T so I could verify coverage easily. AT&T suck the big donkey. Switched to Alltel I have 5 and 6 bars now. Had to wait for 2 yr contract to end before I could dump this sorry ATT service.

I used to have Verizon and I always had problems with reception and drop calls. Now that I switch to T-Mobile everything is great no problems what so ever. I'm glad I made the switch.

OMG, I don't know where to start. I have an airave as a bandaid for the reception issue I have *in my house*. As soon as I walk out to the parking lot, my reception drops to 0-2 bars, if I'm lucky. I have called Sprint about this issue probably 100 times in the last 3 years, and was treated very poorly and rudely by *everyone* with whom I spoke. "We'll have the engineers look into it". Well, the engineers "looked into it", and decided that it was much more convenient to eat donuts than to fix the issue. Called and spoke to a supervisor, Mensah, ironically enough (obviously not a member of the famed society). I was told that "well, sir, wireless communications is not perfect, and your agreement states that coverage is not guaranteed in all areas. Your only choice is to pay your early termination fees and switch to a different carrier." I was flabbergasted by this response. They flat-out refused to resolve the issue, or send an engineer to my home to witness the coverage issue. The kicker is this: the tower involved is on 32nd St.and Acoma (about 1 / 2 mile from my home)! The frustrating part is that I like every other aspect of Sprint's service, my phone, my plan and all. I'm just having problems RIGHT here in my home neighborhood. I can't call my wife from the grocery store next door to see if she needs eggs. I can't call my doctor from the Walgreens next door to straighten out mixups with my medications. Now, I don't anticipate living in my current residence for a lot longer, and I'm sure that once I move, the problem will no longer exist, but that doesn't do me any good right now. It is just frustrating that Sprint is completely unwilling to resolve this issue in our neighborhood. I see several complaints on this site from people in this neighborhood. One would think... .

I have no signal inside the house or office, I can go outside and get some service but not much, I changed form Nextel to Sprint because NExtel was so bad and Sprint is no better. THey tell me that plans are under way to add cell towers sometime in the next twpyears. Not very helpful now
