Worse than poor --- can answer phone but the reception is so off and on that it might be better not to have reception at all. Verizon needs to do better than this!

Absolutely awful reception. Am in the process of canning this phone and will drop Verizon altogether if a replacement phone has the same problem. Don't see how Verizon can insist on a contract when it's unable to fulfill its end of the bargain.

Just spent a week househunting primarily in PV, also with shorter runs to Prescott and one to Chino, and always had decent reception. Our phones are 3 years old, not that great, but no dropped or missed calls for us.

Verizon has good service throughout the tri-city area with some exceptions - Prescott Racquet Club area - as previously noted. Also weak signal in Groom Creek area which is about to CHANGE BIG TIME! Verizon is adding a cell site on Spruce Mountain. This should boost their coverage in a huge way as Spruce is 7,800 ft. elevation and looks over the Prescott area from Groom Creek to Prescott Valley.

Once west of Williamson Valley road I basically get 0 to 1 bars. Very poor service.

Verizon has generally good reception in Prescott, Prescott Valley, and Chino Valley. I previously had Sprint and switched to Verizon because of poor reception. Now if Verizon would just get some decent phones - they're years behind other carriers in supporting new models.
