We literally have spots marked with tape in our house where you might get reception. Sometimes it's on the floor. Sometimes it's against a window. Sometimes standing on a chair outside. Everywhere else there is no signal. And even the marked spots fail 50% of the time. Do you think Verizon will let me pay 50% of the bill?

Verizon has very good reception

My calls from home are often dropped, its very annoying. My phone shows 1 to 2 bars for reception but drops to zero bars in some places within my house. Sprint needs to allow my phone to roam more easily, my work cell uses AT&T and my reception is fine...

Sprint was good enough to send us an Airave for free! Now we get 5 bars consistently at home. But before that we had numerous dropped / missed calls in our house. 2-3 bars is what we get driving in Rancho. Still a few dropped calls per week between my wife and I.

Shows near full bars but it constantly drops calls. Takes me 7 times to get a call out and its pure luck if anyone can get a call to get through to me. Text messages are always failing to send just like calls taking me 7 times before a text goes through. Texts coming into me sometimes come in hours after they were originally sent. The phone works perfectly fine in Tucson city limits. Unfortunately I entered into the contract months before moving out to Rancho Sahuarita. Stuck with a brick when I get home. PS-AT&T has horrible service.

I get next to no reception inside my home in Rancho Sahuarita. If I step outside the reception increases to maybe 2 bars but mostly I find myself exasperated with out cell service. Have the Sprint Airave being shipped out this weekend, it's supposed to use your broadband connection to create a mini cell tower in your home. We'll see if this remedies the problem.

Right now my phone reads 2 bars, but it waivers mostly between No Service and 2 bars. On a rare occasion I have seen 3-4 bars - but that doesn't really last. I can hear people fine, most of the time. But they usually say I sound like I'm in a tunnel, far away or I go in and out. If you find a spot that works, stay there - don't move! Don't even take one step. Reception is hit or miss. Very annoying! (My roommate has Verizon and his service is spotty as well but I think a tiny bit better than mine.)

My wife got out of her iphone contract because of the poor service. AT&T phones are blocked from being able to manually select GSM / 3G. I de-branded her new sony and she can now disable 3G which has made a big difference. Still sucky service. 3G bars are full but dont work. Very frustrating. Phone batteries die over night searching or switching between service modes, if at all possible disable 3G. IF not possible de-brand your phone and the option will appear. Divinciteam is a good source for de-branding

Spotty service ranges from full bars in 1x EV to no bars at all in 1x. Drop calls are frequent. T mobile was more reliable in this area.

0-1 bar reception, numerous dropped calls. looking for more RELIABLE service. Same for 2 years, no improvement.

Getting 3 bars for phone reception, showing 1xev for internet- however internet service is very sketchy... hardly ever works. This has been a problem for the past 2 years. Very disappointed... Can't wait until my contract ends in 6 months.

Spotty reception in my house and inconsistent Blackberry service. My phone battery is dying because it is constantly seeking service. Dropped calls, missed calls, lost text messages, and loss of 3G.

Intermittent to no reception in Sahuarita. and within Raytheon Facility. Also some spots in Tucson like Ajo and PaloVerde

In the past 6 months, my Nextel coverage has gotten much better. I now regularly pick up a signal that registers 4 out of 5 bars.

My calls get dropped in the same three places when driving to / from Tucson and home. My calls are always getting dropped inside my house or I have to move to a different spot so that people can hear me. It's very frustrating!

I think Verizon forgot we exist.

Essentially no coverage in my house, OK outside. Just got new phone and dropped two calls on Old Nogales going to Green Valley.

No reception at all indoors. Outdoors is ok, but still drop calls about 15% of the time.

Perfect reception throughout Rancho Sahuarita. T-Mobile is the only carrier I've tried that works in my house. I've tried Cingular, Nextel, Verizon and T-Mobile.
