Sprint STINKS. Just the worst reception, I hate Sprint, I would recommend any one to Verizon. I work in the medical field, most Dr.s and sales reps all use Verizon.

Cingular is worthless in the Rio Verde Foothills area east of 12x st. and only slightly better until you actually get to Pima Rd when heading west. With all of the development in the area it's sad that the largest carrier seems to have the worst coverage. T-Mobile does have some coverage in the area.

Never have had a dropped call. I have run into few dead areas (Papago Park Zoo) I am making regular trips to Tucson (Speedway and Tuscon) without a problem. Can not make calls to and from Houston. My cell is my primary phone line. I was going to change carriers, but might not now.

Barely any signal in or around our house. The Verizon customer "service" rep told me I am in a whole forest of cell phone towers (their words) and should have great reception. We can barely hold a phone conversation and most of the time we can't hear the other party (and vice-versa). Verizon support said there was nothing they could do and that it had to be some kind of interference near my house. They were however very carefull not to agree with me that switching service sounded like the only option (they did not give any others). My daughter's TMobile phone works perfectly in our house so I don't think it is interference. We are done with Verizon as soon as our contracts are up unless they are resolving the issue.

On Shea just past FLW heading east the Sprint Service drops calls 99% of the time... in addition to areas on Via Linda, 136th South of Shea and other areas. It does not matter what type of phone you have, it happens on them all. Do all Services have this problem?? Isn't there some provider that has quality coverage?

My calls get dropped from my Cingular LG wireless most often on Pima, (anywhere north of the 101 up to E. Cave Creek Rd.), as well as on Scottsdale, (from Thompson Peak up to Ashler Hills). Does anyone have coverage from Frank Loyd Wright or Bell going north on Scottsdale or Pima Rd. up to Cave Creek? I'd greatly appreciate knowing which company gives the most coverage in north Scottsdale and Cave Creek / Carefree so that I may get the correct phone from the best company immediately.

Had Sprint and reception was OK but customer service was horrible. Switched to Cingular to get better choices of Blackberry models and free Razors, but reception at home is terrible. Calling home from anywhere in the city is bad. Can't get voicemails often and calls come to voice-mail but not to the phone. Still in the 30-day window so may switch to Verizon as it seems to have the fewest problems coverage-wise.

Poor. Cingular was good for me in central phoenix (85006) and terriblef or me in Chandler and Scottsdale. Don't dare try driving and talking at the same time, you'll instigate numerous dropped calls.

Can someone verify the reception quality at Legends Trail ? I got horrible signals with Cingular in one of the homes at Legend Trails and calls kept dropping. Very frustrating. Is it just in Legends Trails or just as bad everywhere in Scottsdale ?

I almost NEVER drop calls with Verizon. In fact, my live in boyfriend left Sprint to join my plan because his reception with them was so bad. Someone told me a long time ago that the reason Verizon's reception is so good is because they pay other carries to piggy back on their network. If thats true then I'll gladly stay with them just to have good service. I even shut off my landline because I just didn't need it having quality reception on my cell. I also have excellent reception going to Sedona, Las Vegas and Mexico - we drive to these places several times a year. I do agree that the selection of phones just sucks and it feels like all the other carriers have the cool models. The disabling of BlueTooth is a joke too. If they could get real with those 2 issues I would recommend Verizon to others more often.

Approximately half the time calls cannot be made or received in our home. Calls go to voicemail without the phone ringing. When driving in the area, calls are frequently dropped. Other cell services seem to get it: put the antennas in places the city will allow, ie on power poles, etc. Come on, Verizon! I have to admit that Verizon is normally wonderful service... except at our home.

Sprint is worthless if you live in Scottsdale, I get dropped calls or no service at Scottsdale Mtn. 136th St. Also going from Via Linda W. to Frank Lyod zero service and also merging onto the 101 freeway from 99th St / Pima South zero service. I've had them for 2yrs. and hate them, Verizon and T-Mobile seem to be the only way to talk.

Very poor reception in house. I lose the single walking from one room to another. Outside reception is better but still unacceptable. Bought this phone because at the time it was suppose to have the best reception-HA! I once spoke with a Sprint PCS gut at a local trade show about the problem. He had a field engineer fllow up with me about trying to improve it. I never saw any change. Going to go to Verizon next (and taking my four phones with me!).

Verizon here is terrible. Dropped calls, blackouts, other voices. We generally have to go outside to hold a call. We have had our phones to Verizon for the usual softwear upgrades to no avail.
