Had this phone in Seattle for 3 weeks prior to coming down to Scottsdale. In Seattle did not drop one call in the entire 3 weeks there. Love this phone but ATT GSM service all over NE Scottsdale is horrible, cannot get any service at all at home.

Dropped calls most of the time. Signal is shotty up in Scottsdale Mountain area.

This area has horrible service, but I have not seen any other service provider with any better. I think it is a problem with Scottsdales laws with putting up towers. People don't want unsightly towers

I have great service at my house in Scottsdale, never dropped a call. Also have a house in Show Low and get pretty good service there as well. However, the sales people at the stores (including the managers) are terrible. They are rude and in a hurry to tell you what you want to hear to get you out of their hair. Also, Whats up with the lame phones? I feel like Verizon gets all the leftovers from the companies with cool phones.

Terrible voice reception, if at all or between dropped calls. Data (such as missed calls) come thru fine. T-mobile marks the area as having "Fair" reception - term obviously refers to the commissions received by the sales staff, not the service.

AT&T GSM service has the crappiest service. The phone I have is no bargain either. If you want AT&T GSM service be prepared to have dropped calls galore all over the city.

I couldn't stand the reception with this phone. Before blaming it on the plan, however, because I've been very happy with T-Mobile's service and pricing in the past, I switched to the Nokia 6610. I can't tell you how good it is to be back with a Nokia phone. Bad reception / loss of calls is no longer an issue!

Since I switched to the 6610 I have had nothing but great reception, even in places like stores or my house where I didn't used to get hardly any service and calls would cut out. P.S. My old phone was a Motorola V60 - I only changed phones not service for this improvement.

I can't make a call from my home. I stand outside & it states one bar. I had T-mobile in NYC (worked awsome) -- moved to Scottsdale (It's the pits). DO NOT GET T-MOBILE IF YOU LIVE IN THE PHOENIX METRO AREA.
