Extremely spotty reception in this area with all carriers, not just AT&T. Sometimes I'll get full reception, sometimes no service in the exact same location in my home. Driving through the intersection of 76th and Thompson Peak will cause a dropped call no matter what.

I've been out here for 2 years now and I've been constantly assured by TMobile that they're making improvements out here. Supposedly they're going to have a new tower in January 08 but I don't believe it, due to other broken promises. I get limited reception in my house. I have to stand in certain "spots" and even then, I can rarely talk on the phone for more than a few minutes at a time. I call it the roving Dead Zone. Anything over 5 minutes is a gift. I miss tons of calls and texts, then get them hours later when my phone beeps that I missed a call or got a message. It seems to be worse at night. Anyway, I've been looking at other carriers but from what I've read here, there's not a whole lot of pickings!

Cingular (ATT) is awful. When I call them, they blame it on Scottsdale. My question is, why does T-Mobile have new towers in our area, but Cingular cannot get them through Scottsdale. Bad excuse.

Let's see - Zip code 85255. One of the highest average income zip codes in the country. And Verizon can't get reception over ONE bar. I have to walk out in my backyard to even have a hope of carrying on a conversation. Frankly, it's pathetic.

Service Drifts in and out. After quoting their coverage map that says I should have good coverage at my home ( which works about 20% of the time / and no 3G service) I filed serveral complaints and they finally told me to return the phone and find another carrier. Customer service had no explaination as to why service is so poor. Unable to speak to tech to trouble shoot. Poor service, poor follow up and no interest in improving service in this area. Avoid unless you love frustration.

Had to go outside of my home to get reception and even then I had to stand in one place or the call would be dropped. Do not recommend!

It is embarrassing how bad Cingular service (busness line) is from Pima north of the 101. I have little if no reception and when I do the quality is awful. My personal phone is a Samsung T629 on T-Mobile and in the same area is perfect.
